Bubbles is a female cat that Martin Wright(Marty) found wet and shivering under his porch. Marty took the cat home to try to find its owner. His son Nate is afraid of cats so he tried super hard to get rid of it while his daughter Ellen, who loves cats, tried to keep it. Bubbles left the strip forever when the owner came and they have the cat back.
